My 2nd Sem Schedule
Anyway, I MADE IT. It wasn't as much of a hell as upperclassmen have led me to believe. *sigh* But I'm not out of the woods yet, am I? Now I have to survive my sched. Here it is:
Monday/Thursday
9:00-10:30am -- Math w/ Dr. Eva Rodriguez (I <3 Dr. Rodriguez)
10:30am-12:00pm -- Fine Arts with Ms. Mairene Leynes
1:30-3:00pm -- Taekwando, TBA (...It was my only PE choice. All the slots for Self Defense and Strength Training were taken, STUPID INTERNET.)
3:00-4:30pm -- Filipino 2 with Dr. Leodivico Lacsamana
Tuesday/Friday (...TOXICNESS)
7:30-9:00am -- PRS with Ms. Rhodalyn Wani
9:00-10:30am -- English 2 with Ms. Grace Quiton
1:30-3:00pm -- Physics with Mr. Peter June Santiago (Esther Suson, you better have been right when you told me that he was NICE.)
3:00-4:30pm -- Renaissance Literature with Mr. Raul Calsado
[FRIDAYS ONLY] 4:30-6:00pm -- Physics Lab with Mr. Peter June Santiago
Wednesdays = NSTP from 1:30-4:30pm. Same banana as last sem, but I like NSTP.
I'm hoping I can survive this, and I am going to eye Ms. Del Castillo or Ms. Montales for next sem, Bio. Here's hoping I can survive PRS at 7:30am with my semi-chronic insomnia. Oh well -- God loves to challenge me.

Sembreak Reading List
My goal for sembreak (which started a week ago) is to read eleven books. I'm finishing an average of a book every two days, and I have until the 18th to finish.
Here is my "Magic Eleven." An (x) indicates a completed book, and a (~) indicates one yet to be completed. (--) indicates one in progress.
x The Bridges of Madison County
x The Phantom Tollbooth
x The Mysterious Benedict Society
x The Mysterious Benedict Society and the Perilous Journey
x The Life of Pi
-- The Color Purple
~ The Catcher in The Rye
~ The Reader
~ Emma
~ Evening
~ Love in The Time of Cholera
After this, during the sem I have to finish "Her Fearful Symmetry" by Audrey Niffenegger and "The Double" by Jose Saramago while dabbling in my new copy of Wayne Grudem's Systematic Theology. I'm attempting to get my reading average back up to speed, quite obviously.
Oh, and BTW -- whoever gets me a copy of "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies" (Author?) or "What the Dog Saw" by Malcolm Gladwell gets brownie points.
xoxo,
NC
